Beautiful strangers

This journal was created for me as an emotional outlet but at the same time, I realized it has also attracted some readers online. It is a small amount of you as compare to some famous bloggers such as Wendy (a Singaporean Blogger also known as Xiaxue) and among others of course but I am content with the amount of readers I have and I really appreciate the little comments here and there.

I realized that people kind of like things such as reality TV show and this goes the same for blogs. To think about it, for the first time in all of history, you can read someone's diary -- not just one published memoirs but at times even near-uncensored current thoughts.

As I walked passed people whom I barely know and to a certain extent strangers -- I begin to feel a sense of attachment. Somehow, I feel safe with strangers. Strangers become a safe sort of friend that does not judge I guess. It makes the world closer somehow.

At times when someone I do not know ( or barely know ) takes the effort to send an email to me through my blog address or even just a lovely comment, I really appreciate it.

Perhaps it shows that and disagrees with what I think no one actually cares about the garbage that spews forth from my mouth like a broken garbage disposal at times.

Thank you, strangers.

Much love,
Becky

A note for reader: I used to keep journals too but most of the pages are torn out and I seem to be unable to fully complete those journals and then go on to the next. I think I am someone that always wishes for changes or for some it brings back the bad memories. However this is a repost as this is one of the entries I would like to keep. I think this was written somewhere back in my old journal in 7/17/06.
